Watching Plata Nativa's shop window at its store strategically located on Florida street,
the oldest and one of the busiest pedestrian only thoroughfares in Buenos Aires,
is like peeping into the origins of Latin America.
Its shelves are packed with objects evoking history, magic, rites and ceremonies:
religious images, reliquaries, charms, domestic altars, paintings of past centuries' and present crafts.
This is in fact a non conventional art gallery exhibiting ancient pre-Columbian,
colonial and contemporaneous indigenous pieces including a Modern Collection of Jewelry
